- Stay ahead of market trends
Trends evolve rapidly in mobile games, making it tough to stay up to date on the next big thing. By updating the library monthly, we make sure you have your fingers on the pulse of what’s hot. Whether it’s a new animation style, voice over trend, or a new meme, the Creative Library keeps you informed and inspired..
- Filter by relevance
Finding winning trends for your specific genre and mechanics is key to unlocking your game’s growth. Our filtering options allow you to browse creatives by game genre, OS, gameplay mechanics, and control type. From growing a hybrid-casual puzzle game on iOS to scaling an idle simulation game on Android, you’ll discover relevant trends to spark your inspiration.
- Supersonic creative expertise
Every creative in our library has been selected by a Supersonic creative expert for its performance and innovation. It’s like having market research in your pocket! Now you can easily see hand-picked top-performing creatives to get valuable insights into what works and create your next winning creative.
Just some of the use cases:
Unlocking your creative strategy using the Top Creatives Library is all about identifying key trends in top performing creatives. In other words, you need to examine the creatives with the best results and find what they have in common. Then you can use them as a reference to design your own winning creatives. Here’s a few examples of how this resource can be used for differing genres.
Runners:
Start by filtering for genre (runners) and mechanics. The most relevant mechanic for runners is decision making/gates. Take a look at the top creatives for this mechanic, then identify the common trends among them.
For runners, we recommend identifying elements like what colors the top creatives use to illustrate good and bad gates. For example, red (bad) and green (good) are commonly used color indicators. Another important element is the background. Some top performing backgrounds include those with large characters. Other elements that drive low CPI include what text has been chosen (if any), power ups shown, bosses, and large clear numbers to show a gate’s effect.
Idle simulation:
Similar to runners, filter by genre (simulation) and mechanics. Here too, the most relevant mechanic will be decision making/gates. Some important elements we recommend you look out for are the pace of the creatives (the speed at which information is conveyed), the voice over used, whether or not they have real-life actors or show gameplay, and if the creative is intended to be humorous. An example of a trend we’ve found drives improved performance for this genre is simplified gameplay with fewer decision making options.
Idle resource management:
Like with the idle simulation and runner games, the first step is to filter by genre (idle resource management) and relevant mechanics, which for this genre, will be stacking and upgrades. We recommend identifying trends like what resource is being collected, the theme, types of positive indicators, and what actions the background characters are performing. Some key trends we’ve found by analyzing creatives for this genre include contrasting colors to show progress and relatable themes like gardening.
An important note to keep in mind across all genres is to show authentic gameplay, even if simplified. While using other games for reference is a great way to unlock inspiration for creating high engagement creatives, your creatives should still be as close as possible to the gameplay of your game. Otherwise, you run the risk of acquiring users that will churn when they realize your game is not as advertised in the creatives.
