We collect information in either of 2 ways:

Directly, from your device – we collect information from your mobile device through our games that you play. Other companies (that we refer to as ‘analytics partners’) will collect this information on our behalf.

Indirectly, from your interaction with ads– e get this information from our advertising and analytics partners. This policy describes how we collect and use your information for SuperSonic Studios’ own purposes, where we are called a ‘data controller’ under data protection law in some countries.

About this Policy

TThis policy is written for users who are under 18 and we understand to be in the United Kingdom. This policy explains how we collect and use information about you (sometimes called personal data or personal information) in relation to our games. It does not explain how we use information that we get from other places, like when you visit the SuperSonic Studios’ website, or use other services we provide. If there is anything in this policy that you do not understand, please ask a responsible adult, or contact us. If you are over 18 or not located in the United Kingdom, please see our full Privacy Policy in supersonic.com/privacy.

Information We Collect

Personal information can be as simple as your name. But it can also be other information that can identify you, the mobile device you use, or the way you play our games (for example, information about your progress). We collect the following information about you:

  • Information we or our analytics and advertising partners collect when you play our games

We collect digital identifiers of your mobile device, which include your device’s Advertising ID, ID For Vendor (“IDFV“, only on iOS devices), IP address and information about your web browser settings. Your ‘Advertising ID’ is called the Google Advertising ID on Android devices, and ID For Advertising (“IDFA”) on iOS devices. The Advertising ID allows companies to recognize your device when you access different apps, so that they can, for example, make sure you don’t see the same ad too many times, or to make sure that the advertiser pays for ads that you see. The ID For Vendor allows companies to recognize your device when you access different apps of a specific vendor.

We also collect information about your in-game purchases, game progress and other interactions with our games, and information about the device you are using. Information we collect about your device include your device’s time zone, amount of free memory, the name and version of our game that you play on your device, your battery status, limit ad tracking status, operating system name and version, timestamp, the name of the manufacturer of the device, the language of the device’s operating system, the name of the mobile carrier and your device’s internet connection type (e.g. WiFi).

  • Information which advertising and analytics companies give to us

Other companies tell us how effective ads that you see have been by telling us how much money we have received from advertising to a particular mobile device of a player. These companies are often referred to as ‘advertising and analytics’ partners because they help us understand how effective our advertising is.

How We Use the Information We Collect:

We use the information we collect mainly to provide you with the services you request from us. We also use the information for the following reasons:

  • to improve our games and our players’ experiences.
  • to communicate with you about the games you’re using, including sending you in-game updates, and suggesting new games and offers that we think you might like.
  • to provide technical support and respond to questions from users.
  • to protect the safety and well-being of our players.
  • to protect SuperSonic from cheating and other wrongdoing.
  • to show you non-interest-based ads, including reporting and receiving payment for the ads.
  • to provide you with rewards and other promotions and marketing campaigns.
  • because sometimes ‘it is the law’, or we need to resolve a disagreement we have with you, or we have agreed with others that we will do something under a contract.

The legal reasons for our use of your personal information are:

  • because we have a ‘legitimate interest’ which means that we need the information for our business reasons, such as to conduct advertising, to better understand our users, and to communicate with you.
  • because we have a contract with you.
  • because we need to comply with the law and prevent fraud.
How Long We Keep Your Information:
